How to make your wordpress posts appear on your facebook page automatically

Why?

• This helps bring in visitors from facebook to your blog. FB page visitors can be increased by paying for ads (boosts). FB group visitors can be increased as long as group members add more friends for free.
• Making full use of the plugin below will also benefit your site (appearance of your stories throughout social media is a strong social signal that benefits your search visibility)

1. On your blog, install the plugin "Microblog Poster"
2. Dashboard > Settings > MicroblogPoster > "Social Networks Accounts" tab > click "Add New Account" button >

Account type (select "Facebook")
Username: (your facebook login username)
Facebook target type: (select "Page timeline") - later u'll want to use FB group, but it's worth the one-off $49 fee... since members can be added for free in groups
Page ID: (FB page > "About" tab > scroll to bottom to see Page ID)
Message format: (i find this is most useful: {URL} {EXCERPT} )
Post Type: (select "LINK")
Default Image URL: (insert image 158x158px as default thumbnail... fetch the URL from your WP media library)
Application ID / API Key: (see "How to create a new FB app" below)
Application Secret: (see "How to create a new FB app" below)

How to create a new app
To create new FB app:
A. https://developers.facebook.com/apps > click "Add a New App" button > Display Name (e.g. DZ Report) - this will later appear as "Published by DZ Report" in the fb post > click "Create App ID" button > answer the security captcha
B. Settings > Basic > App Domain (e.g. "domain.com") > click "Add Platform" button > select "Website" > Site URL (e.g. "http://mydomain.com") > click "Save Changes" button
C. App Review > Make (app name) public? (YES) > Confirm
D. Settings > Basic > copy your Application ID and App secret


4. SAVE
5. Click the "Re-authorize this facebook account" link (located under "Facebook Accounts" > click "Continue as (your name)" > choose privacy level of your future posts (usually select "Global") > OK > App would like to manage and publish your pages (OK)
