1. MUST PLUG IN SEPARATE SPEAKERS INTO your soundcard (speaker out port).
2. Sound > "Playback" tab > Speakers > Set as Default Device . This will disable sound on your regular speakers, and divert the sound to the other set of speakers (which may or may not be functional, but this doesnt matter). More importantly, your PC sound will succcessfully flow to your separate speakers VIA THE SOUNDCARD, and therefore TRIGGER STEREOMIX on that speaker-enabled soundcard.
3. Ensure your volume is NOT ZERO. Zero volume means no sound will flow thru stereomix to the separate speakers.
4. GoogleDocs > New Doc > Tools > Voice Typing.
5. Play any audio on PC and watch GoogleDocs transcribe the voice to text onto the doc.
6. To restore your sound:
Sound > "Playback" tab > VX2703 SERIES (your regular playback device) > Set as Default Device
